I posted a link to this movie ages ago on facebook, but thought it good enough to share again - especially for those of you who haven’t seen it before. It takes a while to download, but please, even if you’re on a slow connection, stick with it.
All predictions point to the previously sharp lines drawn between movie makers and still photographers being blurred beyond all recognition in 2010. New DSLRs from both Canon and Nikon give the still photographer full access to shooting decent, 1080p HD, not to mention the high quality, multi-platform, multimedia products being unleashed by RED. Kuhn’s Mercedes-McLaren film shows perfectly how both sides of the creative image making sphere can adapt to produce 10 minutes of pure cinematic excellence.
