Once there was fast. Now there's very fast.

We’re a big fan of the Pocket Wizard when it comes to firing the lights with a radio trigger, so it comes as sweet news to hear the company has upped its game with a new product line.
With the launch of the spanking new Mini TT1 transmitter and Flex TT5 transceivers (pictured above), the new devices enable some previously impossible camera capabilities including what the company calls HyperSync in the press blurb. What? "HyperSync allows photographers to achieve faster X-sync speeds, all the way up to 1/8000 second with full power flash. Now you can cut the ambient light and use wide-open apertures, outdoors in bright sunlight. That extra speed can also freeze action, whether shooting models or athletes in motion… " Fantastic.
The people at Pocket Wizard tell us the new product will work with both Speedlites and full size studio flash. But hold on there tiger, that’s not all… as the new line also features off-camera TTL flash for dedicated systems such as Canon. Bingo.

Here's the low down:-

- Dedicated Canon compatibility
- On-camera hot-shoe
- Up to 8 fps
- HyperSync full power flash with up to 1/8000 sync
- Optimized FP/High Speed Sync up to 1/8000 with Speedlites
- Optimized Rear Curtain SyncPre-Flash Boost
- Manual Power Control
- Triggers remote flash or camera
- Upgradeable and Configurable
- Compatible with any PocketWizard for standard triggering
